Signing as a group
Yes. One application covers the whole group, and each roommate completes their own section. The leasing office confirms how the lease itself is signed, jointly or per bedroom, before you commit to anything.
Most students apply with a parent or guardian as guarantor. If that is not an option for you, ask leasing what else they accept.
Tell leasing you are looking on your own. Both layouts here are two bedroom, so it is a question of finding one other student, and the office can tell you what is available.
Rent and the lease
Rent covers the suite and its appliances, the stainless fridge, range, microwave and dishwasher, and the private balcony off the living area. There is shared laundry in the building. Hydro, internet and parking are quoted on the tour.
Every rent published on this site is per bedroom, per month, in CAD. The room-type pages also show the whole-suite total so your group can see both numbers before you sign.
Leases here run twelve months on the academic year. Leasing confirms the start and end dates for the cycle you are applying for, and whether early move-in is available.
The building
Ask leasing before you book a tour. Accessibility varies suite by suite in a building of this age, and the office can tell you what is available rather than have you find out on the viewing.
15 minutes on foot to Queen's campus and 12 to Stauffer Library, measured from the door of the building. Kingston Transit serves the street.
